Dr. Louis C Boézaart
MBChB, MPraxMed, MMed (Ophth)
While practicing as a GP for a decade in Tzaneen, Dr. Boézaart completed his MPrax Med and MMed specialising in Ophthalmology at University of Stellenbosch, qualifying in 1990. Since then, he has worked in private practice in Belville and Hermanus and has been actively involved with the Cape Eye Hospital and Hermanus Day Hospital. Dr. Boézaart has a special interest in anterior segment surgery especially cataract and refractive surgery.
Dr. Japie Grové
MBChB, Dip Ophth, FC Ophth, MMed (Ophth)
Dr Grové qualified as a medical practitioner from the University of Pretoria in 2000. After working at Jubilee Hospital in Hammanskraal and 1 Military Hospital in Pretoria, he spent 3 years doing eye surgery in rural hospitals throughout the Limpopo Province. He completed 4 years of formal specialist training at Tygerberg Hospital under the guidance of Prof. David Meyer. Though involved in most areas of eye surgery, most of his work involves vitreoretinal surgery. Dr Grové has published in national as well as international ophthalmology journals and has been a reviewer for an international ophthalmology journal.
Tanya Boezaart
Dispensing Optician (CPUT)
Tanya has owned 3 practices and is passionate about helping patients lead a good quality of life by reducing stress, blood pressure and heart rate to positively affect healing. She strives to assist patients to gradually increase function without exceeding limits of pain and discomfort and believes that by understanding the complexities of pain, healthcare providers can help to reduce the fear and anxiety surrounding it in order to affect patient outcomes.

Brian Evans is the CEO of Hermanus Day Hospital, Cape Eye Hospital and Finacta Financial Services. He specialises in the financial aspects of medical establishments and believes that no one should have to endure prolonged pain without suitable medical intervention.
